Kangxi Blue and White Ovoid Tea Jar

Chinese early 18th century blue and white porcelain jar made at Jingdezhen during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi. These small jars were often made for the storage of green tea.
Excellent painting to show four sprays of flowers climbing up the sides
Around the nck the typical Kangxi Period pattern of a hatched lines
The wooden lid is a 19th century replacement one with excellent carving and piercing
