Kangxi Blue and White Porcelain Charger

Chinese late 17th early 18th Century blue and white large plate made during the first half of the Emperor Kangxi's reign at Jingdezhen
Painted with a battle between Mongolian Warriors and The Imperial Chinese Army in front of a Fort or possibly a fortified town. The horseman are galloping brandishing swords and scimitars with Banner Men to the foreground.
The cavetto is painted with soldiers and warriors with rock work and a fringed willow tree.
The foliate rim is slightly barbed.
The blue is excellent with a good deep tone going to a lighter colour
To the back is a six character apocryphal Cheng Hua mark inside a double circle. The underside is painted with mountains
