kangxi Famille Verte Biscuit Porcelain Miniature Tea Pot

Chinese early 18th century Famille Verte Biscuit porcelain unusual moulded miniature tea pot and cover. Made at Jingdezhen for export to Europe during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi.
The unusual shape and decoration make it appear to be based on a water dropper of this period
Painted with yellow and white foliage and flowers of prunus on a cracked ice ground of green.
The moulded body is fluted with tapering towards the top
The pot stands on three small flat pads for feet on the base

Overall excellent on the tea pot. The knop 0n the lid has been replaced and is probably not the original although it is the right shape and size
