Excellent potting of a rare shaped famille verte brush pot which is decorated in overglaze enamels of yellow, aubergine and green with a burnt orange coloured paint
The painting is a narrative scene that shows scholars and officials visiting court officials in a terraced garden setting along with their horse.
Excellent example of early famille verte
