The small ewer shaped water dropper has a chicken head and a roosters tail as a handle. The body is painted with flowers and vines.
A chicken or rooster is one of the zodiac animals in Chinese astrology but the chicken is also associated with the woman in Chinese folklore representing a good marriage.
The small water dropper is filled from the top and the water comes from the side of the beak
