Song Ding Ware Lidded Bowl

Song Ding Ware 'U' shaped bowl and cover with pale white glaze to the sides.
Ding Kilns were in Hebei province and produced ware for the Imperial Palace. The ware was considered to be far superior to that produced in most of the other kilns.
This is an excellent example of its type.
Private collection originally Purchased from Robert Macpherson. Original invoice available.
